A New Poem 2015

A New Poem is a short video based on Emily Dickinson’s poem, If I Can Stop One Heart From Breaking. I read the Chinese version, and it impressed me a lot, even after a few years, I still think should create something related to it.

Generally, a poem is composed of words and sentences, and our brain will process them and create scenes and meanings. However, A New Poem is trying to break these completed things and bring untouched information to spectators.

If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.
